Posted - 09/27/2008 : 3:19:42 PM I am beginning to part out a 1978 Mariner. The engine/transmission/outdrive and "Carver" emblems are already gone.
The hull is in great shape with a very solid transom, stringers, and core. It was powered by a single 330hp Mercruiser I/O.
The flying bridge is complete with all teak in good condition. The steering and engine controls are all available.
The cabin is also complete. All interior wood has the original finish and is in very good condition.
There is also a teak swim platform available.
Please feel free to inquire regarding any parts you may need. |

Posted - 04/20/2009 : 1:32:01 PM Sorry the anchor light has already sold. As for the top... one did come with my 1978. I need to inspect it to see how much of it is there. I am sure it is not in good shape but might be useful as a pattern. I will dig up my copy of the 1974 Carver brochure to see how the 74 compares to a 78.
I have scans of the 1974 Carver brochure if you would like them. That year is missing from the archives on the Carver website.
