I'm the owner of a 1986 carver 3227. I must admit I'm a bit jealous of the 28. I really like the layout. There are some similarities in the boats and I look forward to following the site.

While the guys here are Mariner/Voyager 28 owners and enthusiasts in particular, we are also Carver enthusiasts in general.
So welcome to the forum and if you need any help cutting your boat down to the proper size just let us know.

Yep, Carvers are in a class of their own. More roomy inside than anything else of the same size. I almost bought a 32 Mariner instead of the 28. I loved the interior and the bridge but, was a little intimidated to take that big of a jump up in size from my 24 ft bow rider.

LOL,
Almost all my "jumps" have been two feet. Also known as Twofootititus.
Bob (Jimbo Song) is the only guy I know that went backwards... :-)
