I am looking for replacement lights for the cockpit and bridge of my 1987 Voyager 28". The original lights are rectangular measuring 3-1/2" X 1-3/4". They have a small rocker switch on one side and a round light with translucent lens on the other. The only markings is on the lens ring and it says "Jensen".
I have 2 that are completely gone so would like to replace all 5.
Does anyone have a hint of where I may find replacements or suitable substitutes?
Thanks, Bob

Surplus Unlimited has alot of parts at really good prices. Their service is good, not REAL fast shipping (plan on about a week), but always get what I order.

Hope this helps!

Bob,
I'm not familiar with the style of lights used on the '87s, a picture would help out.
On a somewhat related note... I recently purchased some LED bulb replacements for the dome lights on my boat from MarineBeam.com. I got these: http://www.marinebeam.com/ba9smdpomaar.html
Anyway, I am totally impressed with these lights. I ordered the warm white... they are still a little bit "cooler" in color than an incandescant but they use almost no juice. I can run all 7 dome lights on my boat and barely see any current being used on the ammeter on my battery charger. If one of the other lights offered by MarineBeam.com will suit your needs, they have earned my recommendation for both their products and service. They also have some very good info on the site, see their "Why Constant-Current Control?" and other documents.
If you can find some LED courtesy lights that put out enough light for your purposes, I would strongly recommend going that route. Save your battery power for the important things like your fridge (and starting your boat too, I guess)!

I had the same problem. If you go to any auto parts store, you can find "licence plate" lights, same thing as what you have (the round part), you can also find the small toggle switches, although they are not water proof. I then went online and found some LED's with the same mount (12 MM, I think). Works just fine. I also changed all the interior lights, Nav lights to LED. The only lights left are the gauge panel lights, but I will get to them some day as well.

Found what I needed. Went to a local Marine Surplus here in Daytona. Found the round lights and marine grade mini rocker switches in one of his "junk" bins. Bought enough to replace all five of my lights twice. :)
Dismantles everything from teh mounting plate and cleaned it up with a little Brasso and steel wool. Reassembled everything with the new parts. Works like a charm and looks brand new.

This summer I removed my exterior lights described here. Two in the cockpit, two on the bridge.
I covered the holes with 5" x 2 3/8" stainless steel louvered vents.
Looks proper and as if the boat came that way. Of course I can't turn the lights on any more but given that I never did at any time in the last 18 years I think I'll be fine.
The actual louvered vent I used for all of them is:
