I have decided to re-power my 86 Mariner 28.
I am going from the 305s which are raw water cooled to a pair of new rebuilt 350 Crusaders with Fresh Water Cooling.

The Take out engines will be available this Fall...so if anyone has a need for them please contact me at bill@nicholsguitars.com
They will need to be picked up in the Solomons Island area of Southern Maryland.

Well, I do believe the 305's are Chevy's and 302'2 are Ford. So, I would almost bet they will not match up with the existing mounts. However, suitable mounts should not be a big deal at all to have fabricated.

The short answer is yes, with a LOT of work.

You would need new engine mounts, bellhousings, damper plates, exhaust manifolds, risers, intake manifolds, distributors, pulleys, water pumps, accessory brackets, starters, wiring etc.
There is a LOT of time, money, & work involved with changing from one manufacturer to another.

Had actually looked at doing this myself, however the exhaust manifold cost alone pretty much ended the idea.
