During our trip to Portland, we got to see a friends 1947, 102' wooden tug.
This will be his live aboard when he's done.
(he makes plexiglass windshields, and may be able to make new ones for the Carvers, I'll keep you posted)
How would you like the need to fully shut down your engine, shift the cam over, and restart in order to have reverse??!!

Old wooden boats are WAY to complicated and maintenance intensive for me.
But, God, they are truely beautiful works of art.
If you can, please keep us up to date with photos as his refit progresses.
