Hey Erik!
Sorry it didn't go so well last week! I KNOW how that goes! RED eh? Hmmmm...
In definite need of the prop info now... Found something that goes BUMP in the lake... (Thanks Ron! Shethead...)
Erik, I left you a Private Message.
Info for all: The prop info on the hub should read something like 16LH15. The first number is the diameter and the second is the pitch, the L or LH is Left Hand, or R or RH for Right Hand.
I'm not sure how, or if, they would mark a cupped prop (you can usually see the cup shape), or how they may mark a variable pitch prop.
Did you take pics of the props by chance? Are they 3 or 4 blade?
Thanks, Rock

Finally here is the info on the props the support my 10GPH claims! Each prop has the following stamped on it: - 3/76 (date) Michigan Dyna - Jet - 16RH15 - S 548
The reconditioned props look amazing as do the shafts...everything is balanced and shiny! My shop did a great job - I thought they had made a mistake and put new ones on! (ROCK) I did not get an e-mail from you. But if you send me an e-mail to ecandg@comcast.net - I'll send pics...and 'yes' the RED bottom rocks - it just happens to match my fenders and canvas top!I hope the prop info helps...

Erik was good enough to send me pics. His drivetrain looks awesome!!!
Dunno about the red though... laffin Nawww it looks good!
Unfortunately his props are the same diameter and pitch as mine, possibly the cup is different.
We will keep looking into it and see what we find. I may end up with different props this weekend, will let ya know the results.

| Just wondering how this sounds, I can cruise at 20 MPH @ 2000 RPM and ran it up to 30 MPH @ 4000 RPM. Mine is a single 454 I/O II TR with a 19 /34 x 21 Michigan match prop. I recently had the prop rebalanced as it had a vibration from the factory. I have no idea on what the GPH is though I would like to know. |

| Just thought I'd add an update. I replaced the hour meter and ran 5 hours during the 4th of July weekend on 10 gallons fuel. The fuel gauge returned to where it started before I added the fuel and we ran at 700 RPM @ 8 MPH or roughly 7 knots. It equates to roughly 2 GPH at that speed. |

All, my carver has four bladed props. Does anyone else have them? I think they are factory.
