Anyone here use their boat in the Bay? I plan on keeping mine in the Baltimore/Essex region. Just curious.

Nope. Never been there. But, when you get your boat in the water let me know and I'll come for a visit and you can show me around.

Sounds like a plan!

Soon as I join the community I play on joining the Chesapeake Bay foundation to do my part in helping to restore. My last adventures on the bay were in the early 90's. I'm curious to see how it looks now comparatively speaking. I guess sorta worried too.

I'll buy the beer! (For after we return to the dock, tie the boat up and shut down the engines)

It seems to me that the bay is in better shape today then it was in the early 90's

Bob - Haha okay. I'm actually in Germany right now for another month and the beer is delicious. But, I will admit, and I'm prepared for the flame, I miss Miller Lite. lol :)

BillN- That is really good news to hear. The chesapeake foundations' '08 annual report did give it a 28% that year whereas it was ~20% in the 80's.
